Editing and Edititng Help
A week ago I sent off a short piece-25-30 pages to an editor I hired. Just a brief piece expanding on the self help emails I have sent in the last few years. It is fascinating to read someone elses ideas on my own work. I have a clear go ahead plan to self publish this small piece on Amazon. I have been working on it again and am planning on sending it to a few readers I know who will give me opinions. Will keep you posted on this and when it is up and running on Amazon. It is interesting to hear someone else's opinion and see their edits --something I find myself doing for others quite often.
Lately I have helped on College essays, blog posts and such and it has been fun to put myself in that mode again. Years ago I taught a Creative Writing course and I am thinking about doing that again in an online forum. That may take awhile to do!

Angelique, what is the theme of the self-help book you're working on? That's a great idea to take many small things you've written and combine them into a book. Did you dad help teach you writing, or had it been purely from "outside" sources? Let us know when you launch your class!
